New platinum sapphire ring contains an untreated brilliant cushion-cut natural blue sapphire from Sri Lanka. T he sapphire measures 8.82 x 7.82 x 4.40 mm and weighs 2.51 carats. It is a Type II, with a medium dark, moderately strong blue color graded GIA B 6/4. The sapphire is set with 28 round brilliant-cut diamonds and 4 baguette-cut diamonds, with a total weight of 0.71 carats. The diamonds are G-H color with VS clarity.
This 2.51-carat cushion-cut sapphire is securely held in a custom-made platinum diamond ring crafted by the Sapphire Ring Company. The ring features a halo of large, round, brilliant-cut diamonds and baguette-cut diamonds on each side. The ring is finished with a diamond shank and a raised halo.
